Title: RN SDU

Duration: 8 Weeks contract + higher possibility of extension for entire winter season

Shift: Nights (3x12) 36 hours

Location: Los Angeles, CA 90034

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Step-Down/Progressive Care Unit.
• Assess, monitor, and document patients’ conditions, vital signs, and clinical status.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, oxygen levels, and other telemetry parameters as required.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and promptly notify the appropriate healthcare provider.
• Administer medications, IV medications, fluids, blood products, and treatments as ordered.
• Care for patients requiring telemetry, oxygen therapy, and other intermediate-level interventions.

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• Relevant minimum of 2+ years of step-down/progressive care—telemetry or critical-care experience
• Current BLS and ACLS-AHA certification.
•  

EPIC experience is a hard stop Must pass basic arrhythmia/ECG test during orientation
