Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialization in Trauma ICU. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a challenging and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver essential nursing care to patients in the Trauma ICU.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced critical care skills and knowledge in patient assessments and interventions.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to care planning.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and ongoing care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
• Experience in Medical, Surgical, and Trauma ICU required.
• Epic experience is mandatory.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or a compact RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required (AHA only).
• Ability to pass a telemetry test prior to starting.

Work Schedule

This position includes 12-hour shifts (3x12) during the day, with an expectation to work every other weekend and some holidays. There is an option for 4x12 shifts if interested.
