Travel Nurse RN - Surgical Intensive Care Unit - $1,721 per week in San Antonio, TX

Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: August 20, 2026

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 hours guaranteed per week | 13-week assignment | Every other weekend required | 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule block

Highlights:

• Critical care nursing in a specialty hospital renowned for transplant and advanced surgical programs
• Experience with complex patient populations including transplant, bariatric, and critically ill patients
• Work with advanced technologies including Rotoprone and CRRT (Prismaflex)
• Exposure to specialized procedures such as central lines, bronchoscopy, and bedside tracheostomies
• Meditech electronic documentation system
• Opportunity to float within the ICU system to expand critical care skills

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of critical care/ICU experience required
• Minimum 2 years of hospital or travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Preferred: Rotoprone experience, CRRT/Prismaflex exposure, and Meditech experience
• Willingness to float to other ICU areas as needed based on census
