Travel Nurse RN - Surgical Intensive Care Unit - $2,215 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ICU License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: EPIC experience required Oncology experience preferred, but not required Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience. EPIC experience is mandatory. Oncology experience is preferred but not essential. Certifications required include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. The patient age group is adults. Patient diagnoses include hemorrhagic shock, hypovolemic shock, sepsis, septic shock, pneumonia, ARDS, craniotomy, ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, intracranial hypertension, and delirium. The role involves managing external ventricular drains, ICP monitoring, and participating in massive transfusion protocols. Candidates should be skilled in mechanical ventilation, heated high flow oxygen therapy, BiPAP, CPAP, tracheostomy management, CRRT, and titration of vasopressors. Travelers may float to other units as needed. Candidates must have current acute care experience. References from professionals in a leadership capacity are necessary for submission. All candidates must have a valid nursing license at the time of submission. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
