Travel Nurse RN - Surgical Intensive Care Unit - $2,264 per week in Columbus, OH

# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Surgical ICU/Oncology – Ohio

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Day/Night Rotating or Nights available. Shift assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period based on department needs. 2:1 patient ratio. 72-hour orientation provided.

Highlights:

• Surgical ICU setting with complex patient population including stroke, sepsis, ARDS, and post-craniotomy care
• Advanced procedures including CRRT, EVD management, ICP monitoring, mechanical ventilation, and vasopressor titration
• Epic EMR system utilized facility-wide
• 12-bed unit with robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Oncology experience preferred but not required
• Comprehensive orientation and support for qualified critical care nurses

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required (must be current within the last 12 months)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at submission)
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Graduation from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Proficiency in arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, ventilator management, and titration of vasoactive drips
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required (one must be from a manager/director or formal leadership)
