Job Title: Surgical ICU Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Surgical ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 12 Hours per Shift: 12 (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years current Surgical ICU experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Strong Surgical ICU experience Description: The position requires a registered nurse with strong Surgical ICU experience. Candidates must possess a valid RN license and current BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include Critical Care Certification and trauma course. Experience with EPIC is advantageous. At least two previous travel assignments in an ICU setting are required. The patient population includes trauma, transplant, vascular, GI, orthopedic spine, and oncology patients. Nurses may be required to float to areas with a similar skill set. Weekend work is expected for 3 out of 6 weekends in a 6-week schedule. Availability for on-call duty is required as needed.
