Travel Nurse RN - Surgical Intensive Care Unit - $2,642 per week in Baltimore, MD

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgical ICU Duration: 15 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Trained and worked in a dedicated open-heart unit receiving patients directly from the operating room. License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Critical Care Certification preferred Trauma course preferred Must-Have: Current experience with recovery of post-operative cardiac surgery patients in an ICU setting. Experience with ventilators, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), Swan-Ganz catheters, epicardial wires/pacemakers, and vasoactive drip titration. Experience with Level 1 intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). Description: This is an 18-bed unit that provides care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery, cardiac transplantation, lung transplantation, the placement of ventricular assist devices, and other complex procedures. Nurse/patient ratio is 1:1 or 1:2.
