Seven Healthcare is pleased to present an exciting travel opportunity for an experienced Travel SICU (Surgical Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse in Boston, Massachusetts. This assignment offers a competitive weekly blended rate of $3,200, based on three 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, providing the chance to advance your surgical critical care expertise in one of the nation's top academic medical centers.

Key Responsibilities of the SICU RN:
  • Provide high-acuity critical care to postoperative and trauma patients
  • Manage ventilators, complex drips, invasive monitoring, and advanced ICU therapies
  • Perform frequent assessments and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
  • Collaborate with trauma surgeons, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Assist with emergent interventions and procedure preparation
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR
  • Educate patients and families throughout the recovery process

Requirements of the SICU RN:
  • Active Massachusetts RN license (or ability to obtain)
  • BLS, CPR and ACLS required
  • Minimum 2-3 years of recent SICU experience
  • Strong skills in critical thinking, hemodynamic monitoring, and rapid response
