Telemedicine Registered Nurse (RN) position in Austin, Texas. This role involves providing specialized telemetry nursing care on a 12-hour night shift at a well-established healthcare facility. The position requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, with on-call responsibilities as needed.
Job Details
Shift: 12-hour nights, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Med/Surg experience, candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Preferred Qualifications: Chemotherapy certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Schedule: 12-hour night shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Additional Information: The unit is a 34-bed surgical oncology and medical-surgical unit capable of maintaining twenty-four-hour cardiac telemetry monitoring. Outgoing and team-oriented candidates are preferred. Uniform dress code requires navy scrubs.
Population Served: Young adult, early adult, middle adult, later adult, and very old age groups.
Unit Highlights: Recognition includes an ICARE Award and three Daisy Award winners. The unit offers new equipment and technology and has a dedicated, experienced staff.
