Description:
This is a travel RN position in a telemetry unit.
The unit has 32 beds.
There are typically 7-12 staff members on the unit.
Staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4-8 RNs, 2 floor CNAs, and 1 sitter on the night shift.
Patient ratios are 4 or 5:1.
The unit uses a GE telemetry system for monitoring.
The electronic medical record system utilized is Meditech.
Typical procedures performed in the unit include IV and Foley catheter starts and chest tube removal.
Candidates with experience caring for post-operative CABG patients are preferred.
The ideal candidate will be outgoing, a team player, and willing to take initiative.
