Job Title: Travel RN - Telemetry Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital telemetry experience License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS & ACLS required Must-Have: - Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital telemetry experience - BLS and ACLS certifications Description: We are seeking a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. This role will involve working in an intermediate care unit. The unit has a total of 37 beds. There are 12 staff members on the unit. Day shift includes 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Technicians, and 1 Unit Clerk. Night shift has 8 RNs and 3 Patient Care Technicians. Patient ratios are approximately 1:6, with a 1:4 ratio for Heart Cath patients. The types of equipment used include PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes. The electronic medical record system utilized is Meditech. Candidates must possess strong critical thinking skills and have a positive attitude. Independence in patient care is essential. Candidates with prior Meditech experience and those with expertise in central lines and medication drips will be prioritized.
