Telemetry Nurse in Arlington Heights, Illinois. This healthcare provider position involves providing skilled patient care on a 12-hour day shift schedule. The nurse will participate in orientation sessions and must hold valid licensing and certifications prior to start.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Illinois Nursing License, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), 2+ years of strong medical-surgical experience, experience with electronic health record charting, passing EKG test with 80% or higher, valid Illinois license, and recent skills checklist and reference within past 12 months.
- Preferred Qualifications: Telemetry background and prior experience with electronic charting systems.
- Float: As Needed to other medical-surgical units.
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend.
- On-Call Requirements: None.
- Holiday Requirements: As needed.
- Additional Information: Orientation begins on Wednesdays, with 12 hours of training including non-billable hours. Candidates must submit an updated resume, skills checklist, reference, and Illinois license verification prior to the start date.
