**Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse on the Watkins 1 unit! - Work a 32-hour evening shift, providing care from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. - Enjoy flexible scheduling with four shifts a week, including every other weekend and holiday. - Make a difference in the lives of patients while utilizing your nursing skills and expertise. **Essential Functions:** - Deliver exceptional patient care based on established standards, protocols, and policies. - Respect and honor each patient as an individual, fostering dignity and self-regard. - Educate patients and families based on identified learning needs and readiness to learn. - Collaboratively plan and prepare patients and families for discharge, incorporating necessary resources. - Delegate and supervise nursing interventions performed by others effectively. - Prioritize patient care efficiently, recognizing the need for assistance or emergency intervention. - Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all patient data and therapeutic interventions. - Communicate timely and effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient care. - Promote learning among colleagues, acting as a preceptor or attending professional development programs. - Proactively identify risks to patient safety and implement strategies to reduce errors. - Safely administer medications and intravenous therapy following physician's orders and protocols. - Assess and reassess patient pain levels, documenting responses and notifying physicians as needed. - Interpret and document patient cardiac data, initiating appropriate treatment plans. - Act decisively in life-threatening situations, participating actively in multidisciplinary care rounds. - Recognize and respond to abnormal laboratory results, notifying physicians promptly. - Provide ongoing assessment and education to surgical patients and their families. - Set up and troubleshoot necessary surgical equipment, ensuring optimal patient care. **Job Requirements:** - Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. - MOAB class required within 60 days of hire. - Preferred 1 year of med-surge experience. - Required previous telemetry experience. - Hold a current MA RN License. - ACLS certification upon hire. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
