Telemetry Nurse in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position involves providing specialized nursing care on a 28-bed cardiac telemetry unit, including post-operative cardiac patient care. The role requires working within a collaborative team environment, utilizing virtual sitter monitoring and telemetry tech support to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: Night shifts lasting 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, 1 year of relevant experience, location in Oklahoma, and eligibility to work in the United States.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemetry monitoring, trauma center experience, and familiarity with post-operative cardiac care.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: This position requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment. The unit cares for all cardiac needs, providing support through PCTs and a healthcare unit coordinator. Virtual sitter monitoring and telemetry tech support are utilized to enhance patient safety. Travelers will be scheduled to work up to 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period, along with holidays as needed.
