Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted.
License: Current RN license required.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
Must-Have: Proficient in managing cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration) including milrinone, dobutamine, amiodarone, Cardizem, lidocaine, Bumex, and heparin.
Description:
Registered Nurses will work on a telemetry unit.
The patient population includes adults to geriatrics.
Common diagnoses include congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, chest pain pre-and post-catheterization, dysrhythmias pre-and post-device implants, hypo/hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and venous thromboembolism.
The nurse-patient ratio is approximately 1:4-5.
Experience with the Epic charting system is required.
Candidates must exhibit proficiency in various nursing skills related to cardiac telemetry.
Floating within the facility is required as needed.
Traveling nurses are expected to work holidays as specified in the guidelines.
Compliance with all onboarding requirements is mandatory to start on time.
The role requires full engagement in a collaborative healthcare environment.
This position may involve assisting in interdisciplinary support as necessary.
Candidates are expected to possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
