Job Title: Travel RN - Tele Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care Telemetry experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: Minimum 1 year current acute care Telemetry hospital experience BLS and ACLS certifications Description: Travel RN position in Telemetry unit available. The unit consists of 33 beds with a staff of 30. Night shift includes 1 charge nurse with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5:1. Type of equipment used includes EMR systems. Candidates must have a positive, compassionate, caring, and flexible attitude. Skills preferred include experience with managing IV drips, EKGs, and administering medications. Experience with chest tubes and managing devices, such as pacemakers, is also beneficial. Patients are generally cared for at a ratio of 5:1. Staff tenure and experience are strong, and the unit is equipped with new technology. The candidate should prioritize patient care experience.
