Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $1,894 per week in Tulsa, OK

Job Title: RN Telemetry I Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 06:30 PM - 07:00 AM Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: Critical thinking skills, ability to work in a stressful environment, capability to work with minimal supervision Description: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Cares for all cardiac needs including post-operative care. Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-6. The unit is supported by Patient Care Technicians and a Healthcare Unit Coordinator. Utilization of virtual sitter monitoring is available as well as monitor technicians. Requires the ability to float to cardiac telemetry and med-surg departments. Travelers will be required to work up to 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling period and may need to work holidays if required.
