Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required. Certifications: BLS - American Heart Association; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service. Must-Have: - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. - Ability to perform health assessments and evaluate health status. - Skills in health teaching and counseling. - Proficiency in executing medical functions and providing therapy. - Documentation according to guidelines. Description: Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care. Evaluates health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data. Performs health teaching and health counseling. Provides therapy and treatment supportive to life and well-being, either directly to the patient or indirectly through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others. Executes delegated medical functions. Refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment. Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans.
