The hospital offers advanced cardiac, surgical, and specialty services, serving as a major healthcare provider for West Alabama. Our Heart Failure / Stroke Unit is a 42-bed unit dedicated to our patients diagnosed with both neurological and cardiac conditions, such as congestive heart failure or acute stroke. Tuscaloosa is a vibrant college town with a lively arts scene and outdoor recreation including their famous Riverwalk. Birmingham is about a one-hour drive, giving you access to additional entertainment and travel options. You must have an active Registered Nurse (RN) license and at least one year of recent telemetry experience. Experience with Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems is helpful for this role.
