Travel RN PCU/Stepdown jobs in Greenville, SC let you care for patients needing close monitoring and progressive care in a facility with advanced cardiac technology and a collaborative team. You will assist physicians with patient management, identify irregular telemetry readings, and monitor specialized equipment while documenting in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a valid South Carolina RN or Compact RN license, and 2-3 years of recent telemetry or stepdown experience. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications are required. Recommended skills include proficiency in electrocardiogram interpretation, rapid response to adverse symptoms, IV therapy, and strong communication. Experience with telemetry protocols and EMR systems is valued. 12 HR shift PM every other weekend and holiday
Locals are not accepted (within 50 miles of facility)
Dysrhythmia exam (study guide located in Simplify library)
At least 2 years of experience
previous travel experience preferred
titrate multiple drips (rate control and pressure support), BiPap, manage central lines, Insulin drips, CIWA, Groin/sheath management as well as all post procedures from EP lab ( ablations, pacemakers, ICDs, TAVRs) and Cath Lab (Multiple stent placement, CTO, Watchman).
