Job Summary:
Telemetry Registered Nurse in Scranton, Pennsylvania. This position involves providing comprehensive, quality patient care to a diverse patient population within a 30-bed unit. The role requires delivering care primarily during night shifts, with floating to medical surgical and remote telemetry units as needed. The Telemetry RN is expected to incorporate specific educational and competency requirements related to cardiac patient care.

Job Details:

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM, with every other weekend and every other holiday coverage.
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 2+ years of telemetry or step-down experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system.
Additional Information: The Tele RN will be responsible for delivering specialized cardiac care, including incorporating educational competencies related to cardiac patient management. This position may involve blocked scheduling requests.
