Job Summary
Telemetry Nurse (RN) Night Shift Location: unspecified
This role involves providing specialized neurological care to diverse patient populations in a short-term acute care facility. The Telemetry Nurse will be responsible for monitoring post-surgical neurology patients and managing various neurological diagnoses, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: 1-Year/First-Time Telemetry RN with neurology experience, proficient with the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and skilled in caring for post-surgical neurology patients and other neurological diagnoses.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
• Education Requirements: Valid licensure as a registered nurse.
• Experience Requirements: At least 1 year of nursing experience, including neurology-specific skills such as management of neuro patients, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and use of telemetry equipment.
• Location Requirements: Valid state license; compact license accepted.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Qualifications: Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac), craniotomy, cerebrovascular accident (CVA), spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and electronic fetal monitoring are preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Submission Requirements: Include responses to whether the candidate has previously worked at a Providence facility, along with two references covering at least one year within the past three years.
