Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $1,948 per week in Clinton, SC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in cardiac telemetry License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: EPIC EMR experience Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in cardiac telemetry. The nurse will be responsible for caring for inpatient adults with life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions. Common patient diagnoses include sepsis, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and coronary artery disease. The patient population may also include cardiac patients receiving IV antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive infusions, and anticoagulation therapy. Key responsibilities include vasoactive drug administration, antiarrhythmic drug therapy, thrombolytic therapy, and defibrillation/cardioversion. Nurses will be required to monitor cardiac telemetry and perform non-invasive blood pressure monitoring and EKG assessments. Weekend coverage will be required every other weekend, with potential changes based on needs. Floating to similar units or facilities may be required as determined by staffing needs. The nurse should possess strong skills in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
