Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $1,951 per week in Clinton, SC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Tele Duration: 13 - 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the field, with at least 1 year of EPIC experience required License: Active RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Management of dysrhythmias Description: Night shifts are 3x12, from 19:00 to 07:30. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, but this may change based on need. Floating is required to like units or to other facilities as needed. Patient diagnoses include inpatient adults with actual or potential life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions. Common cardiovascular diagnoses include sepsis, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and coronary artery disease. The patient population may also include cardiac patients receiving IV antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive infusions, and anticoagulation. Special procedures performed in the unit include: - Vasoactive drug administration - Antiarrhythmic drug therapy - Thrombolytic therapy - Defibrillation/cardioversion - Thoracentesis - Cardiac telemetry monitoring - EKG - Non-invasive blood pressure monitoring Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy. Daily census is approximately 14. The unit has 20 beds and 20 rooms.
