Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required. License: Current RN license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required. Must-Have: - Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics. - Experience with cardiac telemetry. - Ability to manage and interpret telemetry readings. - Skills in caring for patients post MI, heart failure, and arrhythmias. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of nursing experience. Candidates with previous charge experience are preferred. A patient ratio of 1:5 is maintained on this unit. Interdisciplinary support is available, including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Respiratory Services. Experience with telemetry, EKG, and doppler is essential. The nurse will be responsible for managing various cardiac conditions, including post MI and heart failure. Additionally, skills in various procedures such as peritoneal dialysis and phlebotomy are required. Flexibility to float to other units as needed is expected. Candidates must be fully compliant with all onboarding requirements to start on time. The schedule includes six weekend shifts per six-week period. Holidays may be required depending on the assignment period.
