Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Georgia or Compact license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIH certification preferred Must-Have: - Ability to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration) including milrinone, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Bumex, and Heparin. - Experience with telemetry monitoring and management of dysrhythmias. - Familiarity with Epic charting system. - Skills in non-invasive airway management and blood product administration. Description: We are seeking a registered nurse specializing in telemetry. This position will involve caring for adults to geriatrics with various cardiac conditions. The patient population includes those with diagnoses such as CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and vascular issues. The nurse will work in a telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:4-5. The average daily census is 35 patients. This role includes monitoring patients both on the unit and remotely. The nurse will be responsible for starting and maintaining IVs, managing cardiac drips, administering oxygen, and performing wound care. Full compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time. This position requires the capability to float within the facility as needed. The traveler is expected to work major holidays as defined in the policy. This role offers an opportunity to enhance skills in a dynamic clinical environment.
