Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $1,983 per week in Augusta, GA

Job Opportunity – Telemetry Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Schedule: 36-bed telemetry unit with average daily census of 35 patients; nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5; every other weekend required; no call required; holiday coverage expected per assignment length

Highlights:

• Telemetry unit specializing in cardiac care including CHF, MI/chest pain (pre- and post-cath), dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), and vascular conditions
• Epic EMR system (experience required), Pyxis, SBAR communication
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration (milrinone, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Bumex, Heparin)
• Up to 7 days of requested time off available (must be finalized at submission; blackout dates apply for Spring Break: April 4-12)
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Local candidates accepted at same rate; floating within facility/scope of practice as needed

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; telemetry experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certification required; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 4:5 or similar
• Proficiency in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central/PICC line care, IV insulin protocols, post-cardiac cath/MI care, and wound care
• Demonstrated ability to manage cardiac drips (no titration): milrinone, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Bumex, and Heparin
• Full compliance documentation required by Tuesday prior to start date
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
