Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $1,984 per week in Leonardtown, MD

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: DC license or MD license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. Candidate must have completed at least 1 travel assignment. Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity. Description: The position requires a Telemetry Registered Nurse with experience in ER Holding and Telemetry. The ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage them is essential. Weekly orientation dates are provided for new hires. Weekend and holiday shifts are required based on unit needs. The nurse will be responsible for a patient ratio of 1:6. Specialized skills in various telemetry management tasks are necessary. Nurses will work with adults with diverse diagnoses such as Congestive Heart Failure, Atrial Fibrillation, and Sepsis. Experience with special procedures like Peritoneal Dialysis and NIHSS is preferred. Ability to operate special equipment utilized in the unit is required. The position involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
