Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84102-1507
Pay: $2100/week
Shift: Nights | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Schedule: Every Other Weekend (EOW)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry RN with strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage cardiac patients across multiple units. This role requires flexibility, as travelers will float within a designated zone based on patient care needs.

Required Qualifications
  • Active RN License (UT or Compact)
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA) – Required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Telemetry or related units
  • Strong skills in cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to telemetry patients with cardiac conditions
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
  • Administer medications and manage cardiac drips per protocol
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
  • Float to other units within scope as required
  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies and patient safety standards
Work Environment
  • Telemetry/Med-Surg units within a 60-mile zone
  • Fast-paced setting requiring adaptability and teamwork
  • Travelers expected to float based on staffing needs across facilities
Schedule & Requirements
  • 12-hour night shifts (6p–6a)
  • Every other weekend required
  • Floating required within assigned zone
  • Must be available in-state for orientation week
Additional Notes
  • Driver’s License required at submission (used for radius rule)
  • Housing must accommodate floating within 60-mile radius
  • Hiring process includes clinical interview (no unit manager interview)
