Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: RN - Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Telemetry experience, float to Medical Surgical License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice Certifications: ACLS, Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred - Acute care facility experience preferred Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. Collects relevant data pertinent to patients' health or situation. Analyzes the assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan and coordinates care delivery. Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Collaborates with the team, including patients, families, and healthcare providers, to provide care in a safe, healing, and humane environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients and team members. Directly provides health information to patients, families, and the treatment team. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
