Job Description:

The Registered Nurse role in Telemetry involves providing specialized nursing care and monitoring to patients with cardiac conditions. The nurse will work primarily night shifts in a unit focused on cardiac telemetry care.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering patient care and monitoring in the Telemetry unit.
• Administering medication and cardiac drips, including Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, and Cardizem.
• Managing the Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process.
• Floating to all acute care units as needed.
• Working every other weekend and on Labor Day as scheduled.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year recent Telemetry experience.
• Experience with TR Band's post-procedure care.
• Current KS RN license and BLS certification.
• 2-5 years of preferred experience in Telemetry.
