Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,039 per week in Phoenix, AZ

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical Acute - Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years Telemetry experience required License: Valid Nursing License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Level 1 Trauma experience required Natural hair color and no facial piercings Men must be clean-shaven for fit test Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance Description: This position requires experience in trauma and surgical nursing. Candidates must demonstrate competency in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes. All nurses will participate in a skills lab that is pass/fail. Maintaining a sterile field is critical, and candidates who cannot demonstrate this may not be a good fit. Floating to other units is possible, mainly to medical/surgical telemetry. Nurses will care for patients including those post-operative from transplants, whipple procedures, spine surgeries, and orthopedics. The staffing ratio is approximately 1 nurse for every 4-5 patients. There is a requirement of working four weekend shifts in a four-week period. Holidays will be included in the permanent staff rotation. Nurses are expected to be flexible and adapt to various patient care settings. This position will involve continuous learning and adapting to policies and procedures.
