Telemetry (TELE) Nurse in a healthcare facility setting. This position involves evaluating patients, assisting physicians with patient care, and developing individualized care plans. The role requires providing patient-centered care in accordance with professional nursing standards and supporting the adoption of evidence-based practices.
Job Details
Position: Registered Nurse Telemetry (TELE)
Location: 6 west
Schedule: Days shift, 6:45 am 7:15 pm, 36 hours per week, with weekend requirement as needed and holiday coverage
Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school of nursing, BLS American Heart Association, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, NIHSS, Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam, minimum of 2 recent years of telemetry experience, chest tube and stroke patient experience, ability to manage up to 6 patients, epic experience.
Preferred Qualifications: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) and additional certifications preferred.
Additional Information: The role involves managing care of telemetry and stroke patients, performing therapeutic nursing interventions, documenting according to standards, and advocating for evidence-based practice standards.
