Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,046 per week in Atlanta, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months of Medical-Surgical experience License: Georgia or compact license required Certifications: NIHSS certification required, BLS certification required Must-Have: IV insertion, PICC line experience, Epic proficiency, Telemetry interpretation skills Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse with expertise in telemetry. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of Medical-Surgical experience. A Georgia or compact license is required. NIHSS certification is a mandatory requirement. BLS certification must be valid and up to date. Experience with IV insertion and PICC lines is essential. Proficiency in using Epic is required. Telemetry interpretation skills are necessary for this role. Special procedures performed on the unit include lumbar punctures, thoracentesis, NGT feeding, and NFT insertion. Top diagnoses/procedures include CHF, COPD, DM, sepsis, pneumonia, gastrointestinal bleeding, altered mental status, hypertension, renal failure, and heart failure.
