Must-Have: Cardiac drip experience, NIH stroke assessment experience, post cath recovery, and chest tube experience.
Description:
Join our telemetry unit with 27 beds and plans for expansion.
We maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry nursing.
Experience with cardiac drips is required.
Common diagnoses include CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, coronary artery disease, renal failure, and respiratory failure.
Nurses will read and document patient data every 6 hours.
Experience with specific monitoring systems is preferred.
Charge nurses and house supervisors are available on-site and do not take patients.
Nurse aides are present with a ratio of 1:8/9.
Respiratory therapy will manage equipment like CPAP and BiPAP.
Weekend and holiday coverage is required.
Floating to similar units may occur as needed.
Scrub colors must be clean, well-kept, and professional.
