Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,056 per week in Lafayette, CO

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years of experience in telemetry or higher License: Current license as a Registered Nurse required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Cardiac experience - Basic EKG competency - Nursing care skills - Health data assessment abilities - Health teaching skills Description: Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards defined by the state Board of Nursing. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care. Evaluates health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data. Performs health teaching and health counseling. Provides therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative to life and well-being, either directly to the patient or indirectly through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others. Executes delegated medical functions. Refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment. Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans. Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines. Uses resources as needed. Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization and abides by service behavior standards. Performs other duties as assigned. May be required to float to other departments based on business needs. May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift. Weekend shifts consist of a maximum of 8 shifts in an 8-week period. Usually about 5-6 weekend shifts within an 8-week period. Documents using Epic for documentation and uses timekeeping and scheduling software as needed. Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
