Job Details:

- Required Qualifications: Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location; 2 years working as a traveler; proficiency in telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours; TR Band experience; ability to perform cardiac drips and reading tele strips; EMR experience with EPIC

- Float: Float rotation may be required, with willingness to float to 8 different units including Med/Surg Tele, Emergency Department, and ICU Transfer units
- Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and reading tele strips. The role involves working with varied patient populations, including ED border patients, mental health medication patients, and transfer-ready ICU patients. The unit includes 371 beds with unit census ranging from 8 to 41 beds. The clinician-to-patient ratios are up to 5:1 during day and evening shifts, and up to 6:1 during nights. The hospital uses the EPIC electronic medical record system. Rotation involves day/evening shifts with 1 to 3 rotational nights.
