The role involves cardiac monitoring, including reading and interpreting telemetry strips every four hours. Experience managing cardiac drips is essential. Clinician to patient ratios are up to 5:1 during the day and up to 6:1 at night. The patient population includes care for ED border patients and medication management in acute mental health settings. Units vary in size, with bed counts ranging from 8 to 41. The charting system utilized is EPIC. Candidates must possess strong telemetry skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
