Job Description:

The RN in Telemetry is responsible for providing care and monitoring to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, renal, urology-post surgicals, general surgery-post appy, gynecology, psych/detox, ENT, and general medicine diagnoses. This role requires the RN to float within Zone 1 facilities, including Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, St. Francis InterQuest, St. Mary Corwin, and St. Thomas More. Nurses must provide flexible, high-quality care across various units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care, monitoring, and assessment of telemetry patients.
• Float between MS-Telemetry and other specialties such as cardiac, neuro, oncology, rehab, renal, bariatrics, ortho, trauma, and ED Obs as needed.
• Titrate drips, including Heparin, as required.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and favorable outcomes.

Requirements:

• Must have 2 years of MS-Telemetry experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Ability to float within a 60-mile radius of Colorado Springs, CO.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holiday rotations as required.
• Prefer prior neuro experience.
