Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) nurse opportunity in an acute care hospital setting. The position is located at a high-risk cardiology unit, providing specialized care for patients post cardiac procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafts (CABG), cardiac catheterizations, and transcatheter aortic valve replacements (TAVR). The role involves managing cardiac drips, sheath pulls, and central line care in a fast-paced environment, with an emphasis on post-operative cardiac patient care during dayshift hours.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour dayshift, 36 hours per week, from 10/19/2026 to 01/18/2027
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in telemetry or cardiac units, ACLS and BLS certifications, experience with cardiac drips, sheath pulls, and central line management, current nursing license (MO license acceptable without issuance; IL license required in hand), valid certification in ACLS and BLS, and specific skills including cardiac telemetry, sheath removal, and management of cardiac dysrhythmias.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with post-cardiac surgery patients, ICU experience, and familiarity with EPIC charting system.
• Additional Information: Unit staffing involves 1:5 patient ratios for high-risk cardiac care. Float within service line may be required, including potential coverage at multiple campuses. No local candidates within 75 miles are accepted; candidates must have a radius beyond 75 miles. All travelers will float within the service line. No RTO requests are permitted after submission, and no assignments allow for the first week of work to be RTO.
