Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,128 per week in Prescott, AZ

Job Title: RN II - Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Reading basic telemetry strips Experience with CVA and TIA Cerner experience recommended Total joint replacement experience Description: Unit is a telemetry unit with 49 beds. Staff-to-patient ratio is 1:5. Required certifications include BLS and ACLS. Common diagnoses include CHF, COVID, respiratory issues, gastrointestinal issues, diabetes, telemetry patients, post-cath patients, and total joint replacements. RNs are required to interpret telemetry strips and sign at least once per shift. Charge nurses and house supervisors are available on the unit. Nurse aides are present, with a ratio of 1:10-15. Equipment used includes BiPAP, CPAP, and equipment for breathing treatments. Shifts are scheduled from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a self-scheduling system. Weekend requirement includes two weekends per four-week schedule. Holiday requirement includes working two days and an evening or two evenings and a day for Christmas, New Year’s, and Thanksgiving. Floating to other units may be required based on qualifications. Scrub color is navy blue. Charting system used is Cerner. Cancellation policy allows for four shifts per contract; three shifts if the contract is under 13 weeks.
