Job Summary
Telemetry (TELE) registered nurse position in a hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized care for patients with cardiac monitoring needs, primarily at a designated medical unit. The position requires flexibility to float throughout multiple hospital locations within the region and is focused on ensuring patient safety and care quality in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, every other weekend, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required, with primary assignment at a designated hospital unit, but responsibilities may extend across multiple facilities within Region Two, including hospitals in the surrounding area.
• Additional Information: Positions involve boarding patients awaiting placement in hospital rooms, with responsibilities including telemetry monitoring, patient assessment, and care. The unit manages their own telemetry monitoring and reads strips; in-house security is available. EMR system used is Epic. The unit is a Level III trauma care setting with patient acuity ranging from 8 to 16 patients per day and nurse-to-patient ratios of 4:1.
• Certifications/ Licensure: Must possess a valid Washington state license and BLS certification.
