We invite you to join our dynamic team where you can make a real difference! - **Key Responsibilities:** - Evaluate patients and collaborate with physicians for optimal patient care. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care tailored to patients’ needs. - Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and prioritize care. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans through ongoing assessments. - Initiate assessments based on patient problems, physician diagnoses, and functional health frameworks. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions to enhance patient outcomes. - Manage care efficiently for assigned patients. - Document care meticulously, adhering to standards of care and practice. - Advocate for evidence-based practice standards while supporting innovations in care delivery. - Deliver patient-centric care that aligns with professional nursing practice models. - Embrace additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. - **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry experience is required. - Chest tube and stroke patient experience. - Comfortable managing up to 6 patients. - **Education Requirements:** - Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school of nursing is required. - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. - **Certifications & Licensure:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA certification required. - NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license is required. - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is a must. - Telemetry Certification or successful completion of Telemetry Competency Exam is required. - **Schedule:** - Full-time position working 36 hours per week. - Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM. - Flexibility for weekend shifts is necessary. - Floating to other departments may be required. - **Hard Skills:** - Proficient in managing chest tube and stroke patients. - Capability to handle up to 6 patients. - **Soft Skills:** - Epic experience is required. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
