• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• BLS and ACLS required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• Ability to interpret telemetry rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias
• Experience with telemetry, stepdown, med/surg, or acute care nursing preferred
• Comfort working with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Ability to work night shift and adapt to a high-acuity, fast-paced healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care using the nursing process
• Complete ongoing patient assessments and respond to changes in condition
• Monitor telemetry, interpret rhythm changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications and titrate drips according to patient needs and unit protocols
• Care for patients with chest pain, CHF exacerbations, pre- and post-cardiac cath needs, and other telemetry-level conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, PCTs, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Support patient education, comfort, and family communication throughout the care experience
• Maintain accurate documentation and promote a safe, organized, and compassionate care environment
