Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,144 per week in Chandler, AZ

Job Title: RN II - Tele Float Pool Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MedSurg/CV/Neuro Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Ability to titrate cardiac drips - Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer - Ability to pass a simulator lab on day one of orientation Description: This position requires floating between all Tele and MedSurg units. Floating is mandatory and may include ICU, cardiac telemetry, and all Tele units. Floating may also occur in MedSurg and other holding areas such as the Cath Lab and ER. A notification of campus and unit will be given 1.5 hours prior to shift start. Mid-shift floating is a possibility. Participants must clock out when transitioning between campuses. The distance between campuses is approximately 9 miles. Unit details include: Ratios for Tele units range from 1:3 to 1:4. Charge nurses will have no patient assignments. Centralized telemetry requires RNs to interpret EKGs. Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend. All shifts are 12 hours from 7 PM to 7 AM. Common patient diagnoses include post-cath lab and post-surgical cases. Nurses will be expected to have strong assessment skills and the ability to manage multiple patients effectively. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential to provide quality patient care. Participation in ongoing education and training is encouraged. The work environment will involve a fast-paced and dynamic setting. This position plays a critical role in patient management and nursing care within the tele float pool.
