Job Details

• Setting: Cardiac Telemetry / Med-Surg Telemetry
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Contract Length: 20 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,920 - $2,020
• Start Date: October 12, 2026
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Unit Focus: Higher-acuity telemetry and PCU-level patients
• Location: Bel Air, Maryland 21014

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or compact license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Strong telemetry, PCU, or step-down nursing experience preferred
• Experience caring for higher-acuity adult and geriatric patients
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• CPI certification required for compliance
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and float within scope as needed
• Comfortable in a fast-paced acute care environment with complex cardiac and medical diagnoses

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for telemetry and med-surg/tele patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy and related nursing interventions
• Support care for patients with CHF, COPD, NSTEMI, atrial fibrillation, arrhythmias, sepsis, and renal issues
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit protocols
• Assist with patient education, discharge planning, and ongoing care coordination
• Float within specialty as needed and contribute to a flexible team environment
