Compensation & Schedule Details

• Hours & Shift: 36 hours per week (12-hour Days, 0700–1900)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Target Start Date: September 28, 2026

   

• Scheduling: Self-scheduling. Requires 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week period for day shift. No on-call requirement.

Key Facility Policies & Unit Guidelines

• Unit Overview: Brand new Cardiac Progressive Stepdown unit (26 beds). Supported by charge nurses, bedside nurses, PCTs, and unit secretaries.
• Floating: Required to float to Telemetry, Med-Surg, and OSS units as needed.
• Dress Code: Mandatory uniform consisting of royal blue tops and black pants.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of Telemetry experience required, with a background in managing post-procedure cardiac patients.
• Licensure: Active Kansas (KS) RN license or compact state license.
• Certifications: Basic life support/certifications per standard facility policy.
• Required Skills & Charting: Proficient in titrating IV medications (cardiac drips, heparin, insulin, etc.) and pacemaker management. Charting system is Meditech.
