Job Summary Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Nights Location unspecified. This position involves providing care for neurology and neuroscience patients within a short-term acute care facility. The role requires proficiency in neuro assessments, including NIH Stroke Scale, and adherence to unit protocols for neuro-specific diagnoses. The RN must be adaptable to float between units as needed and work a flexible schedule that includes every other weekend.
Job Details
Schedule: Night shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week, beginning on 10/19/2026 and ending on 04/19/2027.
Required Qualifications: At least 6 months of neuro experience; ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Certifications; valid state license (compact license accepted); minimum of 1 year of previous RN experience; proficiency with Epic charting system and experience with neuro protocols.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience on a stroke or neuroscience unit; familiarity with BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tubes, craniotomy, CVA care, dysrhythmias interpretation and management, neuro stepdown, neuro surgical pre/post care, procedural sedation, spinal cord injuries, telemetry, traumatic brain injury.
Float: Float rotation may be required to meet unit needs.
Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to work specific holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Must have at least 1 year of RN experience, and compact license must be in hand at submission. Candidates are required to respond to employment history questions and provide two references covering a one-year span within the last three years. No direct contact with facility is permitted unless arranged through the organization.
