Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,162 per week in Milwaukee, WI

Job Title: RN Tele Profession: Nursing Specialty: RN Medical Center Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Medical/Surgical License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS preferred Must-Have: General Medical/Surgical skillset; experience with tracheostomies, chest tubes, reading and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips, managing Lasix gtts, insulin gtts, heparin gtts, and wound vacs. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. Candidates will care for a variety of Medical/Surgical patient types. Patient ratios may vary, with an average of up to 6 patients per nurse. Required skills include general Medical/Surgical knowledge and the ability to manage complex care needs. Support within the department includes CNAs, telemetry monitors, rapid response teams, and charge nurses. The electronic medical record system utilized is EPIC. Candidates should be willing to float to any Medical/Surgical unit as assigned. Scheduling includes a weekend rotation every other weekend and holiday expectations of every other major holiday. Participants in clinical interviewing services are approved for up to 7 days of requested time off, if the traveler is willing to extend their contract to accommodate. Shift times are from 1900 to 0700, with a schedule cycle of 6 weeks. Scrubs should be in solid colors without logos.
