Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required License: Active state or compact license required Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIH required Must-Have: Recent Meditech charting system experience preferred Must be willing to float within scope of practice. Must work every other weekend. Description: RN will manage all telemetry and medical-surgical patients in the unit. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:6 or 1:7. Candidates must have AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications. Recent experience in telemetry and medical-surgical settings is required. The role requires management of various patient care scenarios including telemetry monitoring and medication administration. Additional responsibilities may involve pre/post-operative care and wound management. Nurses will collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to provide optimal patient care. Travelers must meet compliance standards and provide required documentation. Health and safety protocols must be adhered to throughout employment. This position will include working both major and minor holidays. Candidates must possess essential skills in various medical procedures related to telemetry, including monitoring and assessing cardiac rhythms. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary to accommodate unit needs.
